Partnership with the Chinese Province of Hunan

Under a framework cooperation agreement between China and Belgium, a CDM partnership agreement was negotiated with the Chinese province of Hunan between 2008 and 2010. This resulted in a partnership agreement in 2010 for the development of CDM projects and for capacity-building activities on sustainable development and CDM.

On January 29th 2013, the Ministry for the Environment of the Belgian Federal Government and TRICORONA organised a workshop on the potential contribution of carbon funding to Renewable Energy Projects in Kigali, Rwanda.
